WORK EXPERIENCE
My
experience involved the design and rehab of low income, single and
multifamily homes and elderly housing. From the start of projects, with legal
descriptions, photos, personal site visit descriptions. I would obtain
as much site information from the internet using GIS auditor sites, FEMA,
USGS, aerial photography sites, and zoning and subdivision regulations.
From there I coordinated the site plan buildings, streets, and parking to
best suit the area. I rendered color elevations and site presentation
drawings to go with the plans created for tax credit submissions. When
the projects were approved, I would produce the construction drawings and
some I submit for permits.
Another
previous position involved civil engineering. I was also able to make
site visits to obtain information that was questionable or left out on the
surveys. I used a laser level to obtain spot elevations across a
parking lot surface and inside a storm water catch basin. The Land
Development software performs cut/fill calculations as well as creates
section profiles with contour elevations.
